June 2010

Hooray! Website is (nearly) restored to it's former glory, not that any of you direct link to the board people even noticed!

Once again there is new video for you to watch - this time largely due to my glee at having a new computer, one that is actually capable of running CS4 which is making me very happy indeed! Now all I need is a new camera as the new computer has no firewire card so I can't capture from the old one easily.

The video is no great shakes - just me playing around with very limited footage all from a single day. Cheers to Steve and Savage for sending themselves multiple times for the sake of some clips and Simpson for keeping the faith whilst trying to get the train footage in fading light and with a group of riders who just couldn't get it right all at once - no surprises there then...

I went to the trails with Hugh today, who was sporting a very fetching new British Racing Green powder coat on the trusty Curtis, was a lot of fun even though we were both knackered. The trails are in much need of love but it's half term and it's going to rain so hopefully things can get finished. I'm away this weekend (Chelsea darlings) but will definitely be down in the week. See you all there. Tom

May 2010

As promised there is a new video for your viewing pleasure, a reworking of an edit that's been lying around since the October when I first started redesigning the site. Sam's responsible again and the musical inspiration seems to have come from a young gentleman not unknown to the JLC community but you'll have to find out more from Sam. The Gallery is still causing issues and I'm currently trialing a new version but that's not fault free yet either but I should get it all up and working fairly soon and once that's done my next task is to design our own forum.

The trails are good but still need rain and work - Milan has insisted on us moving the final take off in new line (a name anyone?) for what I think is the fourth time, the last landing is still unfinished and Mainline generally needs a spruce up with 3 having been built up, but is still in desperate need of about a foot being added in terms of length so any time you're down there you know what's in line for work...
